Drone Video

I took my friend Aaron flying the other day. He is in an aviation college getting all of his ratings so it is really fun to fly with him. We landed on a lake and he pulls out this tiny drone and starts getting video. This was his first movie attempt and I must say that the quality of the images is very impressive for such a small drone. No flying sequences in this video, just scenes of the plane on the ground, but cool short video.

Alaska Husky Flying

Pierre and I flew the north side of the Wrangell - St. Elias Park and Preserve based out of the Devils Mountain Lodge.  Then we headed over to the south side toward more familiar terrain for us.

North Wrangells

Pierre and I decided to fly to the north side of the Wrangells.  We stayed with Kirk Ellis at the Devils Mountain Lodge.  We met many wonderful people and saw amazing terrain only accessible by plane.

McArthur River Fishing

I flew to the McArthur river to do some fly fishing.  Pierre joined me in his Husky.

Then we relocated to another part of the river to do some King Salmon fishing.

I landed on a plateau below Mt. Spur.  Pierre, Chris, and I have camped up here before.  The view of the Alaska Range is amazing.
